Once again, due to exchange rate fluctuations, it is our unfortunate duty to inform you of a rate increase on .net domains in Euros (EUR, €) and Pounds (GBP, £). All domain operations (creation, renewal, transfer) in all price grids will be increasing by €1.50 or £1.22 on 1 February 2017.
Here are those changes reflected in A rates for example:

If you have a .net domain, we recommend renewing it before 1 February in order to get the current rate before it goes up.
Remember: .net domains don't have to be nearing expiration to be renewed.
Now's a good time to consider consolidating your portfolio if it contains .net domains outside of Gandi by transfering in or buying that .net domain you've always had your eye on.
Rates in US Dollars (USD, $) will however, not increase. They will remain the same.
This is just a quick reminder to owners of .net domains, or those who may be thinking about bringing a .net into their lives soon, that there will be a small rise in .net prices starting February 1, 2016. So once again, we'd just like to encourage all of you looking to keep your .net domains for at least one more year to renew them before that magic date of February 1 rolls around.
On that date, domain transfers will go up from $14.00 currently to $15.00 and creations and renewals will go up from $17.00 currently to $18.00 (all at A rates). Short term, $1.00 per year may not seem like that much, but remember that if you're planning on keeping your .net domain for 10 or more years, you'll save $10.00 per domain by renewing now.
Having obtained an ICANN renogotation in 2012, the biggest registries have made it a tradition to raise prices on a regular basis.
On 1 February 2015, .net prices will increase from $16.58 to $17.36.
.net domains can be renewed for up to 10 years, so if you intend to hold onto yours for a while, now would be a good time to renew, before prices go up.
