Beginning on May 1st 2012, the Portuguese extension .PT will be available to those outside Portugal.
You will still need to provide an ID number, but it will no longer be limited to Portuguese citizens. The first major change is that there is no longer any need to have a personal or company name that is the same as the domain!
For example:
If you are a registered organization (company, association, etc.) in Europe (EEC), you must provide your Intra-Community VAT number. If you are not in Europe, you must provide a different fiscal ID number.
If you are an individual who is a citizen of Portugal, you must provide your Fiscal Code. If you are not Portuguese, you must provide your passport number.
Starting today, you can register your .GG (Guernesey) and .JE (Jersey) domains at Gandi. A great way to round out our collection for the Channel islands, and which should go well with the .IM (Isle of Man) extension, which has been available at Gandi for a couple years already.

As usual, the .COM.DE extension is available to you at Gandi for $15.00 (£10, or €12) excl. VAT under A rates, and is open to everyone (see the full price list).
We are forced to increase the price of these two extensions due to the large variation in value of the Swiss Franc over the past few months. We hope that this price increase is only temporary.
All operations on these two extensions will be increased by $3 (£1.5 or €2) excl. VAT.
After a trial in May, we are renewing the .US promo in partnership with the registry which will provide you with registrations and transfers of this extension at cost. The offer is limited to the first year, and will allow you to register your .US domain for only $6 (£3.90 or €4.30)!

foreign companies that have a presence in good faith in the United States or in one of its possessions or territories that is based on a real, legal, and substantial link with the United States or legal commercial activity with the United States, or maintaining an office or any other property.
From now until December 31st, 2011, .info creations for one year will be 50% off the normal price in all rates. For example, this means that creations under A rates will be $7.50 (£5, or €6) excl. VAT, and $4.15 (£2.50, or €3.10) excl. VAT under E rates.
