Simple Hosting instances located in our Baltimore data center only may be currently experiencing issues. Our technical staff is investigating the issue. Please do not perform any operations on your instance in the meantime.

Update 00:51:20 CET:

A member of our technical staff is currently onsite in Baltimore to address the problem.

Update 01:35:13 CET:

The issue has been resolved. Services should be now operating normally.


Our database system will have a maintenance tonight.
Therefore all update of the DNS zones updates will be delayed betweeen 00:00 CEST and 02:00 CEST.

Some of the Simple Hosting infrastructure is affected by a technical problem. Our team is working to resolve it now. We will update this post with the status.

Update 12:50 CEST : A network equipment was faulty. Our technical team fixed the issue. The service is now available. 


We received an alert by our monitoring concerning the Baltimore/USA datacenter.

 

We lost contact with 11 physical machines.

 

We are currently analyzing the issue with the technical team.

UPDATE : one of our technical team members is on its way to the datacenter.

UPDATE : we lost in fact a network unit, a switch on which the redundant system did not work as expected. The physical nodes are coming back.

We lost contact with 7 physical machines hosting PaaS/SimpleHosting instances (no impact on IaaS platform when we analyze the behavior).

 

Our technical team is currently analyzing deeply the issue and will fix it as soon as possible.

 

One of our technical team members from Luxembourg is on its way to the datacenter.

 

Update 19h50 : it seems that we lost a network unit (switch). To be confirmed once our system/network administrator is on site.

 

Update 20h30 : the network unit has been replaced, all is now working again. Postmortem analysis will be done asap.


Due to an equipment failure, simple hosting was in degraded mode form 15:52 to 19:00 CEST.

The failure wasn't detected by our monitoring. Our team will analyse the problem and do the necessary.
